Justin Swidler’s first class action case was back in 2011 and it involved a big American corporation from the metallurgic sector. In this case, the defendant failed to pay overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and failed to pay for compensable time and overtime in violation of the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law and the New Jersey Wage Payment and Collection Law. The more than 800 workers involved in the case found recovery from their lost wages.

Since then, Justin has found relief for thousand of workers for unpaid wages nationwide. He is currently the leader attorney in several cases against the larger companies of the transport industry, fighting for the rights of american truck drivers. He is involved too in other class actions across the country involving employees from a diversity of sectors such as banking, manufacturing, construction or food industry. One of his biggest settlements was reach last December 2015 in the amount of $5,000,000.
