Bio

Nicholas George, Esquire prides himself in giving his fullest efforts to help obtain positive results for his clients.

Nick graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2007, receiving a JD and LLM in international law. In Law School, Nick served as Senior Editor for the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum, participated on the Moot Court Board, volunteered with the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, acted in the Law School’s production of Inherit the Wind, a dramatic play loosely based upon the Scopes Monkey Trial, and served as a research assistant for Prof. Steven L. Schwarcz for academic research related to systemic risk and banking failures. Nick received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2003, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Prior to joining Swartz Swidler, Nick was a litigation associate from 2009 to 2012 at the litigation boutique firm Kaufman Coren & Ress which focuses in complex commercial litigation, labor and employment matters, and bankruptcy litigation. Nick began his career in the Corporate and Securities Department at Dechert LLP, in their New York office, where he focused on public offerings, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions between 2007 and 2009.

Nick is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey. Nick represents clients in federal and state courts in matters ranging from wage and hour violations, race and disability discrimination, wrongful termination, and fraud and contractual disputes.
