In Mount Laurel, non-exempt, statutory employees have the right to be paid at least the minimum wage for each hour worked and to receive an overtime premium for every hour worked above 40 in a week. This protection derives from both the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the New Jersey State Wage and Hour Law.
