YF Logistics/Appliances Connection Class Action Lawsuit For Overtime Wages

Dennis Floyd v. YF Logistics LLC, Appliances Connection, et al.
Superior Court of New Jersey
Docket No.: BER-L-003410-23

Counsel: Matthew Miller, Justin Swidler

On June 29, 2023, a YF Logistics/Appliances Connection Driver Helper filed a class action lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey, asserting that YF Logistics failed to pay him and driver helpers and drivers overtime and minimum wages as required under the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law. The Named Plaintiff, Dennis Floyd, asserts that YF Logistics paid him and other driver helpers and drivers only a daily rate and no additional compensation for working more than 40 hours in a workweek.

The Named Plaintiff seeks to represent a class of all individuals who worked for YF Logistics as a driver or driver helper (or technician or technician helper) in New Jersey during the time period from June 29, 2017 through the present. Named Plaintiff seeks to hold YF Logistics accountable for its actions and recover the overtime wages and minimum wages due to the class members as well as liquidated damages equal to double the amount of unpaid wages.

YF Logistics, Appliances Connections, Polished.com, and the other named defendants deny the Named Plaintiff’s allegations, and the Court has not made any decisions regarding the merits of the case or whether the case is appropriate to proceed as a class action.

If you worked as a driver or driver helper (or technician or technician helper) for YF Logistics at some point during the last 6 years and would like to discuss your rights, please feel free to call the Firm and ask for Matt Miller (856-685-7420).
